Rahath one of famous bus operating company in South India with its presence at Tamilnadu have announced the operation of its new services from Alappuzha to Chennai and Chennai to Alappuzha via Pondicherry Coimbatore Thrissur Palakkad Ernakulam. The schedule is operated with brand new Volvo Celeste B11R coach on both sides.
Rahath also operates one more service in Ernakulam Chennai but will not connect Pondicherry during its trip.

The passengers from Cherthala can board the service at Opposite to Cherthala station. The passengers from Ernakulam can board the bus at Vytilla, Pipeline Bypass, Edapally, Kalamassery, Aluva, Angamaly, Chalakudy.
The schedule from Alapuzha will depart at 4.30 am and reach Chennai at 7.00 am. The schedule from Chennai will depart at 6.30 pm and arrive Kochi at 8.00 am.
