Vignesh TAT otherwise known as Vignesh Thirumal Alaghu Travels operates buses between Chennai and Coimbatore. Vignesh TAT operates two buses in a day one in the morning and other in the night.

The morning bus departs from Vignesh TAT office situated near to Koyamedu Adyar Ananda Bhavan, they have lounge facility for the passengers and night bus departs from Adyar, night bus is nick named as IT express. Evacay, the newly launched private bus operator operates buses between Pathanamthitta to Chennai. The bus is blessing for the people of Pathanamthitta as at present there are only 2 buses operates from Chennai before Evacay was added to the list. I have planned my leave for travelling to Native Place for my birthday and prayer meeting to be held at my native town of Kerala. My leaves were approved by reporting manager, i immediately booked the ticket to Coimbatore in AC SETC Bus as it is cheapest mode of transport available for common man. The AC charges in private bus are comparatively high even it hits 2000 mark during festive season. For my personal journey, my first preference is SETC and secondary in Private in case of morning travel. I looked in to the official website of TNSTC www.tnstc.in of booking, there are 2 buses allocated for AC one bus at 9 pm and another one 10pm.

The below snapshot is taken during my trip to Calicut. The trip was awesome and i stayed in a comfort tourist home. The day started well had my breakfast at a restaurant near to KSRTC bus complex.

I am not boring you with words. Below is the pic of Calicut Bus Stand or Complex of Kerala Road Transport Organisation. The bus stand complex can be used for office and commercial purposes.

The ksrtc bus complex also connects buses from Tamilnadu and Karnataka.

I started my journey on an afternoon from Thamaraserry to Calicut. I have boarded point to point Sulthan Bathery to Calicut Rajdhani.

The speciality of bus is limited stops and faster reach to city. The bus had a good pace and i reached faster than my morning bus i traveled to Thamarasery. [continue reading…]

The below is a travelogue between Chennai to Pondicherry for a travel in scania bus of Parveen Travels. The bus is an inter city model one of Scania introduced in india. The built quality of the bus is good and well maintained by the crew. The bus i boarded travel to Kochi via Pondicherry due to good pax from Pondicherry as well. The bus had two pilots and one  crew member. The crew provided me with a blanket,cushion for head rest, fruit drink, water bottle and lays chips packet. 

The bus moved towards pondicherry and had various pick up points at Chennai, once it reached outskirts of Chennai City and bus starts to gain speed. The travel felt is like we are sitting in a chariot with air suspension and air condition. The hydraulics are very good and maintained good, so we didn’t experience jerks. 

The bus reached mahabalipuram and took a left turn at it was Hotel Mamalam my fav veg restaurant in the route. Many good travel organisation stop at the hotel for dinner . 

The bus started after 20 minutes halt and cruised towards Pondicherry and reached on time at Pondicherry . Thanked the pilots and crew member, got down and got a auto Le Royal Park,Pondicherry.
