Vignesh TAT otherwise known as Vignesh Thirumal Alaghu Travels operates buses between Chennai and Coimbatore. Vignesh TAT operates two buses in a day one in the morning and other in the night.

The morning bus departs from Vignesh TAT office situated near to Koyamedu Adyar Ananda Bhavan, they have lounge facility for the passengers and night bus departs from Adyar, night bus is nick named as IT express. The bus is made in ashok leyland chasis with sleeper options. The bus is airconditioned and maintained by a private company JTAC.

The night express starts from Adyar to Coimbatore the same way it departs from Coimbatore to Adyar, the bus drops and pickups at Koyamedu if you prior inform to customer care.

The ticket rates of the bus vary from day to day and doesnt have a standard fare. According to me, the service is good and have decent drivers. The bus stops for  breaks every 3 hours once and they provide blankets. Each sleeper cabin is seperated with curtons and have individual tvs with speaker system to switch off/on.
