Today 27-Aug-17: I went to watch the movie “Vivegam” at Luxe Cinemas at Chennai presently known as Jazz Cinemas. The story screenplay and direction is done by Siva for Ajith Kumar.

Casting: Ajith Kumar is in the lead role, followed by other leading actors in the industry Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Agarwal and Akshara Haasan. We have other actors supporting the show is Karunakaran(supporting officer for finding Akshara), Arav Choudhary, Bharat Reddy, Sharat Saxena and Swaminathan. It was around 5 am i boarded my auto came to station. I informed the location as Palayam but the auto brother heard as Palai. I informed the destination as Palayam Atlas Inn Tourist Home.

He informed me the destination Palai is 15 kms away. I informed the destination is Palayam Atlas Inn Tourist Home. He dropped me infront of it and informed they charge high compared to other hotels. I said ok and i am comfortable.  [continue reading…]

My Journey to Calicut was rescheduled to Monday instead of Sunday. I left my home around 3pm to Railway Station at Chennai.  Chennai Central is a busy station plying trains between different parts of India. Many passengers also come here to enjoy free wifi provided by railtel and google. 

My train was allotted with platform no.3.  Instead of holding the train around 4pm. Train was brought to platform around 4.30 pm as the platform was occupied by another train. 

I boarded my coach B1 and occupied my seat at lower berth. I enjoyed the view of the train through see through glass. The train coaches were brand new and introduced recently. The route of the train was introduced 6 years ago.  

Meanwhile, TTE came and checked our tickets. 

The train reached katpadi, the co passenger also felt sleepy so we rolled our bed rolls and layed for good night sleep. 

The cooling in the train was good compared to previous coaches. This coach didnt have any fans and purely air conditioned. 

The train stopped between at many stations people started to get down and board in. I have kept my alarm around 4am so i have 20 minutes to get ready and get down at calicut. 

To my dismay, the train reached half an hour late and i was standing in the entrance door of the coach and enjoying the breeze. 

The train reached the destination around 4.45 am, i got my baggage and got down. I got into a food stall selling tea and rice pathiri fry. I ate my pathiri and drank tea paid and thanked the shopkeeper. 

Asusual i reached railway station before 1 hour of departure at boarding station. The station is Alappuzha of Trivandrum Division, i hate about this station is lack of food joints in the station. 

The train i need to board is Shalimar Express, its starting point is Trivandrum Central to Kolkata Shalimar. The final destination for self is upto Chennai Central. 

The train reached Alapuzha with a one hour delay approximately. Meanwhile i went to the restaurant and coffee shop. I had a sip of coffee and banana fries. 

Once the train reached, i boarded the coach and took my place in reserved seat. I got a biriyani pouch and bottle of water for my dinner. 

The TTE didnt reach even though we crossed Ernakulam Town, it look alike its better to boarded the train at Ernakulam Town. The train continued the journey. 

I took my bed roll, blanket, sheets and pillow. I spreaded it in my berth and lied down for a good night sleep. I woke up on next day morning around 5.30 am and again went for nap for 2 hours. 

The train was delayed entrance to Chennai central, we were slowed down at Basin Bridge Junction. The train was 20 minutes late to reach Chennai Central and train was promised to reach by 9.30 am. The delay at Chennai Central is ok compared to delay at Alapuzha. 

I got down the train and left the railway station, straight to home sweet home at Chennai.  

Recently i have bought a Samsung Z2 as a backup phone because you know iPhone drains battery faster. The main feature about Z2 it works on Tizen OS. 

The phone is supportable of 4G VoLTE and feels bit heavy compared with my iPhone. The User Interface was bit tougher to understand. But Later i figured out how to use the device. 

At present Tizen doesnt support many softwares of android. Like a google play store , Tizen OS have Tizen store. 

Samsung Z2 comes with S Bike Mode, Ultra Data Saving and Ultra Power Saving some software features like in J Series. User Interface of Z2 looks like same of Android. 

The Phone supports Dual Sim but both the sims doesnt work in 4G simultaneously. 

Inorder to access Tizen Store you need to create or login with a Samsung account. 

It was on a Saturday night, I need to board the train to Chennai after one week stay at Thanjavur for official purpose. I reached railway station by 9.30 pm and my train is scheduled at 11.15 pm as per my booking message.  [continue reading…]
